An Overview of the Educational System of the College of Finance and Accountancy, Budapest Business School The College of Finance and Accountancy offers the following programs (in Hungarian): Higher vocational training for technicians in banking, accounting, business information systems or project management. The two-year diploma program prepares graduates to meet the expectations of the job market, but they can also enrol in one of the College’s undergraduate programs, if they meet certain requirements. The training takes two years (4 semesters) and prepares students for jobs in banking, accounting, and other business-related areas. Full time undergraduate programs leading to a BSc degree in the following areas: 1. Human Resource Management 2. Business and Management (Business Administration) 3. Finance and Accounting The training takes 7 semesters, 6 of which are in class and one semester is for placement (internship). The programs of Business Economics and Management and of Finance and Accounting are also offered for distance learners. The DL programs are planned for 8 semesters. The CFA also runs post-graduate programs and offers short courses in various fields of business studies.

Most of our graduates embark on careers in the accounting and financial professions, including work for large multinational companies and big accounting firms. We especially take pride in the success of some of our alumni who now occupy high positions in the dynamically developing Hungarian business community and in international business life. According to surveys made by independent organisations, the Budapest Business School and the College of Finance and Accountancy usually ranks among the top institutions of Hungarian universities and colleges in the employers’ opinions.
